As a Designer

I love working on complex projects that span multiple product teams and organisational areas, and helping bring order to chaos.

In the last few years I’ve found myself more on Service Design projects. This started from being exposed to more complex areas of businesses, and understanding how siloed product and operational teams impact customer experience.

Prior to Design, I worked in Recruitment and HR in Australia and the UK. I worked in project organisations, almost spanning differnt timezones: Infrastructure Projects (High Speed Rail), Systems and Software Engineering (Thales), Mining Operations (Rio Tinto & Sandvik), and Aerospace (Airbus Australia).

As a human

My favourite thing to do is Bodyboarding. This has taken me to a couple different places around the world. I love getting barrelled and doing the occasional air.

I grew up in South Africa, moved to Australia and now live in the UK.  My accent is a mix of all of those and changes depending on who I’m talking to. I support the Springboks in Rugby Union, and just enjoy watching any Rugby games generally.

I’ve always been into gaming (consoles only, gave up on pc gaming many years back).
